Do mesh tipped styluses work better than rubber tip?

Hey, I found this type of stylus on ebay, and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with it? I really hate the rubber styluses because its so rubbery and sticky, makes it hard to write.
The one below looks better, but I have absolutely no experience with it.

EDIT: Found another stylus that has a microfiber tip, was wondering about any experience with this type of stylus.

There is a stylus that uses a clear round disc mounted on a spring. They have different styles and different size discs. The brand is DAGI. I came to Android from a Palm so I was use to a pen type. I hated the rubber tips and the bent plastic tip. The Dagi are great. Depending on your phone, you can write, draw, etc, and the tips are replaceable.
