Do Samsung themes work with other launchers?

I use Nova Launcher, and I'm wondering if the themes in Samsung's theme store are just for TouchWiz. Do they get applied at all (or correctly) if you have a different launcher?

I use Nova Prime, the Samsung themes work, but the icons (if included in the themes) do not work.

Backgrounds, sound effects, skins of the user interface, etc. Basically everything you see in the theme's sample pictures is what you'll get, apart from the icons. You'd just have to find an icon pack that may look good with whatever theme you're interested in.
