Help Do they make this app?

So I can connect to my house wifi with my phone, but not my laptop. I am wondering if they make a tether app that tethers wifi instead of my data network. If so, where can I get such an app?

Connecting to wifi is part of the your phones operating system. Shouldn't need an app.

All connections that is from or phone won't bypass boost mobile 2.5GB LIMITED. if u pass it they just reduce speeds. If u want or phone to be a hot spot look for a app that works if or rooted and have the explosion kitkat 2.0 flashed it comes with a app that works. Or just go on that thread and read the beginning.

I am trying to connect to my home wifi network with my phone and then tether that wifi connection to my laptop, because my phone picks up my home network but my laptop cannot. I am basically trying to turn my phone into a network repeater if anyone here knows networking.

I did find somewhat of a solution, which is to install pdanet to my phone and laptop, connect to my home network on my phone via wifi and tether with pdanet via usb and it works great, however I wanted this to all be wireless.

Interesting.. if your phone will work on your home wifi, your laptop should also. I'm glad you found a solution, even though not completely wireless.

You might be able to use pdanet's Bluetooth tethering option to do it, provided your laptop has a receiver, but then you'll be limited to dialup speeds. I don't really know enough about it, but it's something you could look into.
