Do you think Sprint would let me trade my phone?

Ok, here's the deal, I have an Evo 4G.

Just got the gingerbread update and it killed my camera, voice to text and now I can't even use extended controls to toggle my data.

I went from loving this phone to not liking this phone at all now. I use my camera a lot!

So then I also read that the Evo is now an EOL phone as of October.

Does anyone think Sprint (or best buy) will let me trade my phone for something newer due to the bad OTA update? Just curious, if I can get a newer phone out of this then I wouldn't mind, but I never had problems with my Evo either.

I do have best buy insurance but that requires me to take the phone in and wait so long while they decide what do do as far as fixing it or replacing it, meanwhile using a crappy loaner phone. I do EVERYTHING on my phone and I can't go to using a loaner phone again.

they will try to fix it.... or send you a refurbished evo ..

you have to give them the chance to fix the problem..
