Dock like the one in gde?

First post! And I'm doing it off my Droid!

Anyways lol, i used gde and i fell in love with just the slider dock that you can put multiple icons on. But i didn't fall in love with gde as a whole. Is there a app that is the similar concept? I have five contacts i want in a straight row from left to right not top to bottom (need to keep the Google search widget, very handy) but cannot have five. I tried the small icon pack but didn't like it. Any suggestions my fellow androiders? Gracias!

PandaHome has up to 6 retractable side panels call "dockbars." They go top to bottom but do not take up any screen real estate when not in use so your Google search widget will fit just fine. You can scroll, and define each panel's width, height and transparency. I use one of the dockbars for my contacts (shortcuts I set up for direct dial). I use another for various quick profiles. Give it a try...

I completely relate. I for one am looking for the same thing, but can't find anything on the market similar except the one with buttons

I'm planning to try it out, but would much prefer the aforementioned GDE version.

Another widget I have been checking out for organization is Launcher Dock. Launcher Dock v1.1.6 Application for Android | Tools

I know its not the same, but its also kinda cool.
