does 1000mA car adapter kill battery?

I looked into car chargers as i seem to spend more time in the car than anywhere, and read mixed reports of the generic ones damaging batterys and phones so went for the Official AN300, for the extra few
 
I agree with wynney666 lipo battery's aren't something worth taking chances with trust me on that they are Extremely Dangerous.

It probably won't work. I tried a couple of chargers that didn't before I got the original one. The X10 is said to be perticular about this.
 
FWIW, I bought a package from hong kong with a wall charger, car charger and usb cord for $5 canadian shipped. They all work fine. No offense to people who buy the sony one, but we are not exactly talking about rocket science here. This is the same group of people who are producing things like Scanning Electron Microscopes for half the price of North American ones. I am pretty sure they can get a car charger right.

It not that they don't know how to make stuff right they just make them with bad quality and that can be bad for lipo battery's trust me on this i had one explode well not explode it was more like a flamethrower type of action pretty cool unless you are near it or its in your house.

And being in to Remote Control (R/C) stuff i have had a lot of chinese stuff thats had had horrible soldering jobs which lead to faulty conections and it malfunctioning and bam their goes everything really sucks.
But they are getting better with their stuff thats the good new.:)
 
:) Yeah, I have seen some pretty bad stuff in my time. Maybe I will pull apart the wall charger and see what it looks like.

Post a pic should be interesting you have a 50/50 chance lol.
I hate 50/50s when your flying a very nice plane that you just had to put that cheapo Chinese speed controller in it and down goes your plane :eek::(.Does make for great video tho:cool:.

As I mentioned I have tried two different car USB chargers and they didn't work so I got the SE one. It doesn't really matter since it cost like
