Help Does A50 disconnect from 3g and auto connect to Wifi ???

Hi


Does the gamin A50 Automatically disconnect from 3g (data package) and connect to my Wifi say when i return Home and it can connect to the wifi network or even in a free wifi area ??

If not are there some settings I should change when i go in/out the house or other settings I need to Know.

I think most phones do But could not find anything in Instructions

I have android 2.1 on this phone

Hi Mark,

In my experience as soon as the A50 connects to WIFI it will start using the WIFI over 3G. Whether or not it auto connects to an open WIFI connection is another matter. I tend to leave my WIFI off until i get to an open network, for no other eason than leaving it on chews up a lot of battery. I then connect it and whether i'm using 3G or not it defaults to WIFI.
