Does airplane mode and turn off radio do the same thing.

When you got to testing-phone information there is an option called turn off radio. Does it do the same thing as airplane mode?

Yes but when you reboot turning radios off sometimes turn back on cause this is what it is programmed to do airplane mode stay off til you turn back on . no if - ands - or - but about it airplane mode is a signal fixer .

"Airplane mode" is supposed to turn off all radios in a phone, cellular, BT, WiFi, etc, which is what you might want for it to be allowed to be used during a flight. Some flights have WiFi, so you can turn it on sepearately after take off.
