Does Amazon Music allow downloads onto device?

Since Groove Music went kaput a couple of months ago (and I still haven't got around to getting a new phone), I don't have a way of getting subscription music onto my phone. I have Amazon Music on my laptop - does Amazon let you download onto a mobile device? I'm thinking about getting a cheap Android phone to use just a music player in my car.

A quick search and it seems that that you can download using the Android app on Android phones and Fire tablets. So I guess as long as the phone that I buy will run the Amazon Music app I should be good.

Or you can use the free version of google play music...
upload into the cloud.. then you can choose what to download on each device... or stream if you have a network connection.

I won't be using it as a phone, so it'll be wifi only. I already have Amazon Music in my home, so I'll probably stick with their service.
