Does anyone know anywhere to download or stream films on the xoom for Europe or uk?everything seems to be for the USA,netflicks an play on all for us!!dont wanna get iPad 2

Does amazon vod only work in the USA?

Have you tried it? I know Hulu and Netflix are US only (so yeah Play On probably won't help), not sure about Amazon.
Some googling turned this up: Amazon Bolsters Streaming Video Biz with the ?Netflix of Europe?
Sounds like they have a beta Android app, not sure if it'd work on the Xoom but worth looking into anyway. Android Lovefilm Client (Beta) - Show & Tell - LOVEFiLM API Forum
I'd really see if you can get something streaming to work. I assume by going to the iPad you'd mean buying movies/episodes individually through iTunes, which, depending on your usage, could be *significantly* more expensive than the streaming services, whatever device you use them on.

Haven't tried it I'm looking to get the xoom when it lands in uk 1st week in April!looked on amazon (us) and there's great choice vod looked at amazon.uk and nothing,think you can only buy DVD with digital copy and transfer digital copy to xoom!?the us amazon vod think it says I need a us address,surely they will do vod soon in uk as amazon is big here too!!
