does an app exist to?

Im trying to find an app that can track a route that I would drive and then use it to give voice instructions if I wanted to drive the route a second time?

You want to send that narrative to someone to help them drive the same route? That won't work because the traffic is different, so their speed will be too. And then there won't be a synchronisation between the narrative and where they are really at. Very confusing.

Ideally the other party ought to use another satnav device too, of course. But although you didn't say so, you intimated that they don't have one.

In the absence of a satnav device an old-fashioned paper map is the next best thing, imo. So in your place I would use e.g. Google Maps, on a PC or Mac!, to plan the route, and then send it over to the other party to print out.

No that's not what I was tying to do but i didnt explain myself very well.
What I want to do is this. During the winter I drive a Gritter lorry and we arr supplied with a route map for 1 of 3 different routes but its not good to be trying to read a map and drive so I was hoping there was an app I could use to drive the route in my car while somebody reads the route out to me and the route be recorded but as a journey not as just an audio route if that makes sense then when I'm out in the lorry I can use that route as a turn by turn route plan as if i had just typed a journey planner into Google maps.

I used to use something called track my run I think it was that would record the route I took and load it to Google maps but it won't play the route back.

Or it it possible to go to Google maps and draw out a route that I can load into my phone

If that is possible that route that you loaded into your phone would have to be synchronized with GPS-'waypoints', or it would still tell you to turn left at the wrong moment...

I think he means he wants to save a route. On Ovi Maps, you can do this, set specific way points so that it goes through a certain shortcut for example instead of the one that is automatically generated by the app. Then when its saved, opening this route loads these waypoints automatically so you go the same way without having to set it up again.

I dont know how to do it on Android (since I still use my 5800 as my primary navigation device, as Google Nav is not available for my country), but I hope my explanation helps people understand your problem.

Have look at 'BestRoute'.
The intention of this app is an other as yours, but maybe you can use it as you want it.
Every road junction as waypoint of the route.

Good luck :)
