Does anyone know of a serial data logger that can send/receive RS-232 data wirelessly?

Hi Everyone!

I'm looking for a data logger that has the ability to send/receive serial data over a wireless network in the RS-232 format, does anyone know if there are any apps that do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Regards,
Gideon

Welcome to Android Forums.

More information is needed about what you are trying to accomplish. RS-e32 format? Send and receive? Serial data? Data logger?

Try describing what you are trying to accomplish.

Sorry for the late reply here, have been hellishly busy of late. Essentially, I am looking for an android app that is able to send and receive data from an alarm system (in order to test they are functioning/installed correctly).

Said alarm systems communicate via RS-232 data (that's all I know about it to be honest, I'm actually asking about this on behalf of my dad XD), but I can link the information on the alarm system itself

Dad bought a modem/router in order to extend the network given by the systems and ideally connect to it via a tablet running Android 4.4.2. If it helps, here's the information on the router:

I'm so sorry this is really vague, but I'm so past what I know of computers and I thought I'd turn to some forums for help!

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

Regards,
Gideon

Ah, that's the app I was looking at, though apparently, according to the modem manufacturers (who I heard from this morning) Android Tablets are unable to access the 900mhz band frequency. Does anyone know if there is a way to rectify this?
