your best best is to call them share and settings.

technically speaking, the first is "Share Action Provider" and links to all apps that can use the share function (messaging, facebook, twitter or whatever).

and the second is the overflow, this is where anything that doesn't fit in the bar will go. Like if you only have two things you wont have that. So its the less important stuff, and usually ends u being settings, but it varies from app to app.

Also, the icons can be different(like the settings or dots thing dontpanicbobby mentioned).

source-making apps.

Colloquially, the three lines or dots are often referred to as the "hamburger button" since when you click it, one of the drop downs is often "Settings". Such as in Google Now or Gmail apps

Thanks guys. I appreciate the help.

Dontpanicbobby and Out of ideas your responses were great and exactly what I was looking for…

As for Gtbarry I thought you might have been messing with me so I had to Google the whole “hamburger button” and you got a giggle out of me because no joke the Hamburger button is a real terminology and this would be included in its definition.

So thank you so much you guys. I now know what to call the SHARE button and this will definitely help when giving directions to someone who is trying to navigating on their smartphone.
