Of an app that you can use an auto response to texts like click "Busy" or Text later or ..something to that affect...not only for texts maybe one for that and calls?

Well, Handcent has this feature with quick response templates ... but you're interested in automatic responses, right? Don't know of any.

The HTC Hero has a feature to send a pre-defined text when rejecting a call. I would have thought the Eris would also have that?

I use Text Answering Machine for auto replies for texts. It defaults with a message like "I'm probably driving so I'll get back to you later" or something, but you can edit this.

Don't know of anything that exists for calls
