does bluetooth 3.0 work with android 2.3? (Motorola defy)
 
Hello and welcome to Android Forums.

Gingerbread (2.3) has known Bluetooth connection issues.

After checking around both the Motorola DEFY (2.2) and the DEFY+ (2.3) only support Bluetooth 2.1, so no.
