Root Does flashing or Rooting my phone erase memory?

why do you need to sbf, does phone not boot?
magic md5 root does not wipe any data

when flashing sbf, wiping data is recommended, but that does not wipe sd card
only formating sd card wipes data from sd card

edit: if phone is on 2.3.3, you can root with Pete's root tools
2.3.4 is minor change, just stay on 2.3.3 if that's where phone is at

and as for the file link you posted
where was it posted?
looks fine but is the older method

ezSBF 621 with magic md5 root is better

No when i go to the forum about rooting 2.3.4 621 622 on rootzwiki i used the Windows Easy way and i need to push the files to my phone by flashing the .sbf to it using bootloader you already told me that on rootzwiki EDIT:don't You know the one that uses .bat files petes and oneclick dont work for droid 2 2.3.4 and they use .exe not .bat EDIT: It was at rootzwiki its not the old method its one of the magicmd5 methods but not ezSBF its the Windows Easy way it requires that i flash the sbf included in the archive EDIT:It My link that i posted first is invalid i changed the readme then reuploaded it here is the new link:Root Motorola Droid 2 2.3.4.zip - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download - Devin Skowron
