Does it brew the morning coffee?

Greetings fellow Android users! My 1st post here. Please take it easy on me, ok? LOL

I'm looking for a controller app for turning on other apps at pre-set times. For example, it will turn on Pandora Radio (or a News app, or the Chess Game app, or the Weather app, (or even all 4)) when I say, like at 7:30when the alarm goes off.

Suggestions, anyone?

I use my phone to turn on my bluetooth coffee maker automatically at the same time every day.

Timerrific is a cheap alternative to Tasker. It doesn't do NEARLY as much, but you can schedule certain functions to toggle on or off (like BT or wifi) at set times.

Threads like this remind me of how lazy people are getting...how hard is it to push a d@mn shortcut on your home screen???

hah, point well taken... BUT you must not be a morning person! When I wake up, the last thing I want to do is screw around with my coffee (well, the last thing I want to do is wake up). I want my coffee to be ready to go when my feet hit the floor, which means a timer about five minutes before I wake up.

If I had a robot that would put it in a cup, add cream and sweet n' low and put it in my hand, I'd be all over that.

Lol I love coffee. My pot has a timer with a worn out button as well. My little rant was just about the laziness and dependency some people have towards apps. Its scary to think of someone being as unable to perform a simple task without an app as some of the threads come across sounding

I think it's more a case of people wanting to customer their phone in any way they can. We spend much more time researching, installing and messing around with apps and widgets to do what we want than it would take us to just click a short cut every day for a year.
