Does Sprint Insurance Cover Cracked Screen?

My friend has a cracked Epic that is off contract, so can I switch my plan over to that phone and use my insurance to get a new one?
 
Sprint's insurance covers about anything and everything... but, the way you're going about it sounds illegal.
 
No. You have to pay they will send you refurbish one and you have to send that one to them.
