Does this phone really exist?

delayed because of cricket's ridiculous policy of requiring ups to get a signature and not letting me have them hold for pickup. I swear, cricket tries to make everything as screwed up and difficult as possible.

I avoid UPS for this very reason & telesales for phones in general whenever possible.
It also complicates the return process, most carriers brick & mortar stores won't touch a return if ordered on-line,a real PITA...........

Well, I finally got this thing activated and running after that outage.

It's pretty nice so far, but I'll have to wait until Monday to see how the battery life is with my normal weekday usage, which is a pretty big deal to me.

But it's nice and fast, screen looks good, and is somewhat easy to hold with this case I got from Amazon.

Lemme know if there's anything anyone is wondering about that I can answer.

Here's a few things I've noticed so far;

My SanDisk 200gb works fine.

My Bluetooth works fine, even though I've heard other people are having problems.

The lockscreen is pretty dumb, I don't know why they don't do the slide up like every other phone. Also, sometimes it doesn't actually unlock when you tap and hold. The Gallery is also way worse than it should be.

Battery life seems insane, although I've mostly been on WiFi.

At least the things that are kinda whack can be addressed w/apps.
Otherwise,it sounds like a nice phone.
Good B/T performance is high on my list as well,I've had a couple phones that did quite poorly in that dept.,glad to hear it's working well for you.

There's a lot of lockscreen replacement apps out there, but,I do have a recommendation for an alternative gallery app that was just recently shared w/me:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.moblynx.galleryics&hl=en
http://www.moblynx.com/

Don't let the name fool ya,the developer keeps this gallery app updated,as recently as April 2016.................

sweet. yeah, I've used that gallery before, I guess I'll switch, to that again. It's been a while since one of my phones have had a bad built in gallery.

This thing sure has a lot of weirdness software wise. I don't know whether it's a ZTE problem or Marshmallow.

I can't get the screen to not turn on when I get a text, no matter which app I use. I have even unchecked the "screen comes on" setting in Chomp, which is supposed to prevent that.

Poweramp just flat out doesn't work on this phone, even though I haven't had problems with it on any other phone. It stops responding after playing a song for a bit. Other music players work fine, Google play music, BlackPlayer, built in Music.

Sure would be nice to get rid of some if these status bar icons, as well as the Cricket carrier name in the top left.

I think that's about it

I have this phone as well, I noticed on mine that my gyroscope sensor and accelerometer seem to stop randomly. Sometimes can't rotate screen then once I force close apps it works again. Not sure if ram is playing a factor in my sensors acting up.

yeah, mine did that once too.

It stopped and hasn't done it again yet though. I think I turned auto rotate off and on again, but who knows if that actually did anything.

Yeah i been watching some youtube reviews about this phone and people are starting to notice the auto rotate acting up. But I noticed the accelerometer not working when trying to play a game that requires you to move your phone. Then I down loaded an app to test sensors and sure enough gyroscope, accelerometer, and leveling test weren't not responding at all.

OK I love this phone--LOVE IT. It's my first time spending more than $130 on a phone (that was the LG Stylo with MetroPCS, which I upgraded to from the ZMax which cost me $100 and that was the first time I'd ever spent that much on a phone). BUT, it's pretty shameful and weird that it made it to market with this auto-rotate bug. I opened a support ticket with ZTE and hope that it will be fixed in the software, maybe it's a hardware driver?

Also, anyone else's camera just totally fail to focus or randomly lose focus while recording? Kind of makes the fancy dual-lens useless. Again I guess it's something that a software update will fix.

Lastly, I wish all phones had the Tap-On feature. Spoiled by LG devices.

Just wanted to let people know that since youtube app update I noticed my rotate bug has seem to go away and have not had any issues with it so far. Not sure if this is possible for an app to cause such a bug but so far so good.

I'm getting the auto rotate bug more often again now for some reason. Doesn't seem like they're going to fix that soon. I can't say I blame them, since I think like 5 people bought this phone. I've still barely heard anyone talk about it.

That's unfortunate, since it really is nice.

And just like that they are no longer selling it.

I am now just mad I bought this phone and spent $200 on it. Maybe time to go back to LG and get the Stylo 2 :/

it is definitely a nice phone for the price, xda has a lot more support for this device. I was surprised to not see the Alcatel OT Flint even listed in this sites' directory :( .

I was wrong about them not selling it anymore, guess they were out of stock.

The most recent update finally fixed auto-rotate, after like 10 months of having the thing. Still, I'm not too mad. Cricket gets to keep me as a customer, because the phone is perfect now (except it shuts off by itself once or twice a week but I can live with that).
