Help Does this Sony have led notifications?

there are apps on the market that do what you want.. i think handsent is 1.. im sure the others here know of more..

There is an app called Blink - Flash LED in Your Way... gives you ability to set different colours for SMS/MMS, Incoming/Missed Call, Battery/Memory Level with different colour LED's and you can also vary the rate of flashing ie fast, normal, slow etc.

My email app K9 also allows you to chose your colour, as does Handcent as stated above as does my Twitter app Touiteur. So you can pretty much change it up to what you want.

By default, the phone has LED Notifications, green being a message/missed call/email, and red being low battery.

And the people above have already said that there are apps to change this.

I cant see where in handcent you can change the notification led

Go to settings, star in top right of screen. Then settings, Notification settings, then Notifications Settings again, scroll down and it gives your LED settings, blink, colour and flash frequency.

I see the settings.... I have notifications ringtone. Just bought 2 phones. One the green light is not working. Please help...

You could test it... from the Unlock screen, don't unlock but press

then select service tests and find LED from the list and it will show the three standard colours of Green Red and Blue.

If this isn't working then return the phone to your retailer. If it is working here you could try running a software repair/reset via Sony Ericsson Update SErvice or PC Companion Support section. Again if this doesn't resolve it return it.

I just bought a sony xperia x10 two weeks ago and i made a change to the notification LED colors right out the box with no apps. The only issue is now i cannot remember how I did it to make the same change on my wifes phone.

Please stop saying the nagging you have to get an app if you do not know the answer. There is a section in the phone you can adjust the colors by moving the bars left or right. I know because i did it and now i can't find it.

And no, there is no settings, notification setting, blah, blah. If there is a hidden menu you have to be specific with the steps. When i select settings these are my only options and the steps i take:
Swipe unlock the phone
Hit the menu button (button on the left) and select settings which shows this menu:
Wireless controls
Call settings
Sound & Display
Data synchronization
Online Service account
Location
Security
Applications
SD Card & phone storage
Date & Time
Locale & Text
Search
Speed synthesis
About phone

As you can see there is NO notification setting options. The only notification settings option is when you select Messaging and then hit the menu button (button on the left) you get notification settings at the bottom but nothing in reference to changing LED colors.

Any help on this would be appreciated. Serious answers only please.

That's weird ive never heard of this menu i know of two secret menu's and how to access them but they only test your phones ability's and tells you the phone's info.

As for changing the LED's seriously you could of had a wide variety of colors and speed just by using an app it will be a lot quicker than just searching the web.And are you sure you didn't just test the color's of the LED's and not change them cause why would SE hide that option from the settings only to put it in a secret settings menu anyone can use?
That make's no sense to me.

I understand that it sounds confusing even weird but I do remember being able to move a color bar left to right ofr each message notification type like MMS, SMS, Email, etc.... This i know because i changed the LED color for SMS/MMS to Blue and Emails to red.

I can just get an app but now this has become a challenge. If i make progress i will update the thread.
