Does this wifi app exist?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S from US Cellular. I have all the stuff I need to share my 3G connection over wifi to my computer or via usb cable. However, I am going to be in a situation where I need to feed a desktop computer an internet connection but I won't have much cell signal. However, there is wifi. Now, I could buy a usb wifi stick but, I won't need it any other time. So, here is the question, is there an app out there that allows an android to share its wifi internet connection over USB?

Should work out of the box unless US Cellular messed it up somehow. I would just give it a try. If you turn on WiFi Android turns off the 3G radio to save battery.
 
alostpacket: I'm sorry but I can't make any sense of your response. It seems totally unrelated to my question and there is not enough context for me to figure out what you are talking about.

What he is trying to say is that you can turn the wifi on your phone. When you connect your phone to your computer via a usb cable there is an option for tethering on connect to PC. Select this and your computer will be able to use your phone's internet connection which in this case is wireless. I don't know how the galaxy phones work, but you may need to install a driver for the computer to recognize your phone. If there is a driver you should be able to google it and download it.
 
Okay, well I haven't seen any options like that when I connect my phone. I'll post over in the Galaxy S forum. Someone there is probably more likely to know. Thanks.
