Root does this work?

soo after reading into the various different methods of rooting, unrooting etc. i found this

my question is.. does this do the same thing, along with including the option to unroot at the touch of a button?

My point is that if all you do is root, you won't notice any difference at all....doesn't really change much at all....it would let you remove things using a program like Titanium, but it still won't let you remove other things unless you make that next step and setup another boot loader and rom.
