I was out all day yesterday and found my phone power level dropping to the single digits. I dug into the settings and started using the Ultra Power Saving Mode. However, we were at a theme park and I did want to take pics, so several times, I turned that mode off and then back on again after taking a few pics. I didn't notice that this extended the life of the charge at all, compared to the length of time it took to get to 9%.
Does turning this power saving mode on and off chew up juice, or was that a decent strategy to extend the useful life of the phone until i could charge it up again?
