Does Verizon, on the Note 4 and 5, cram Lollipop on you??

I just bought a Note 4 with 4.4.4 on it.

I love it!!! and I want it to stay that way...

The thing looks like it is brand spanking new. In fact, it came with a freshly boxed phone, sales slip, flip cover with the seals unbroken, charger and USB cord still in the sealed baggies.

I cannot detect a single blemish on this thing.

I logged it into my WiFi and then signed into my Google account...
Then over the new few hours, it very nicely downloaded all 141 apps and installed them for me.

I am a happy camper..... so far...

What I want to know for right now, is will Verizon force Lollipop on to it when I insert the SIM card from my S5?

Well, in a fit of stupidity, I forgot about Lollipop for a moment and wanted to see how the phone reacted with the SIM card in it...

now all of my beautiful Fully Saturated 4.4.4 colors are gone...... in one fell swoop, before it even came up as a phone, Verizon pushed 5.01 on the Note 4.....

I am heart broken, it was soooo beautiful in 4.4.4 colors.

It even changed the default background colors on my dialer app.... it was a Black background with white letters, so easy on the eyes.... now it is crapola all white with Pale Blue letters that I can just barely make out.

I will look into that.... actually I had forgotten that * ExDialer - Dialer & Contacts - One I use
has themes and I found the one I lost in their stock set of themes... the one that is ALL BLACK with white letters.

so, at least that one app is now "back to normal"....

I cried for a year when my S5 went to LolliFlop..... I will get used to it... again...
it was just such a joy to find 4.4.4 again !!!

but I do love that big screen on the Note 4..... 73 yr/old eyes need help with big fonts.
