Does VZN Hot Spot support Enterprise VPN connections

Does anyone know if using the Hot Spot wifi on a phone like the DNA, support a VPN secure connection to connect my work laptop remotely??

I used the AT&T Global Network client on my laptop to connect to my company's VPN via the hotspot capability in my Droid RAZR MAXX. I haven't tried any other VPN clients, but I have no reason to believe they wouldn't work.
