Help Does your Note 5 lag?

I have had the Note 5 for approximately 2 months now and overall I'm very happy with it.

Although I must admit I see more lags than my previous Note 4 with Android Lollipop 5.0. With the Note 4 I don't remember any lag at all.

With the Note 5 I would notice a little glitch perhaps once a week? It may last 1-2 seconds, although a couple of times it can last 10+ seconds.

I use the Note 4 the same way as my Note 4, which is not very heavy. Mainly work emails, Youtube, browsing, and a few games here and there.

Wipe cache partition

Unlike a master reset, wiping the cache partition does not delete your personal data.

To wipe the cache partition, follow these steps:

  1. Turn off the device.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Home key, then press and hold the Power key.
  3. When the Samsung Galaxy Note5 logo screen displays, release only the Power key
  4. When the Android logo displays, release the Volume Up and the Home key ('Installing system update' will show for about 30 - 60 seconds before showing the Android system recovery menu options).
  5. Press the Volume down key several timeskey to highlight 'wipe cache partition.'
  6. Press the Power key to select.
  7. When the wipe cache partition is complete, 'Reboot system now' is highlighted.
  8. Press the Power key to restart the device.
