Dolphin Browser - acting up

Has anyone noticed that their Dolphin browser has gotten a bit slower and even acting up a bit, i.e. not responding to touch all the time?
 
I can't use it long enough to get to that point. All the side bars that slide in when I just want to pan my browser around. I am sure it is user error on my part, but drives me insane, as it won't let me pan around with those side bars in view
 
Why not just turn off swiping and you won't have a problem panning.

Since I went to 2.2, I've found dolphin takes a little longer when it exits and I have gotten a few force closes, but otherwise I'm ok.
