Dolphin "cures" some page loading ills?

There's a Motion thread about some recent FoGee! wonkiness that seems to also hit me now and then.

I have been using the stock Spirit Chrome bowowser.

One of the most frustrating wonkies for me is just after I've run a SpeedTest and gotten 3-4 Mps, I'll go to load a webpage and it just sits there doing apparently nothing for 5 seconds or so before it finally skeedaddles to the website. WTH?!

So I bumped into this 20 Best Android Apps Ever vid yesterday and actually liked a couple of the guys choices. (His voice recorder was better than the stock one for one.) He liked the Dolphin bowowser and since it's free I said what the heck, let's give 'er a spin.

Interesting. Dolphin seems to eliminate that beginning stutter and the pages seem to load faster and smoother. And, this was after just having it stutter on me seconds before using Chrome.

So if your pages are loading all weirdly if at all and you're otherwise showing good speeds, try another bowowser. Dolphin made a noticeable difference for me.

I noticed that Dolphin stops working when the data switches from 4g to 3g or 1x. The page is "loading" but it nothing happens after a while. I havent had this problem with Firefox.

I prefer Chrome. But remember we all have different phones. So things will act different on each one.

Puffin browser beats any browser I've tried for pure speed, and it has Flash support built into the browser.
