Help Dorid Razr Maxx, Exchange Calendar Problem / question?

I originally posted this in the droid forum wile I was researching my issue but I'm thinking it may be specific to the Razr Maxx so putting it here to see if I get a better response.

The quick question is; can anyone who is using the Razr Maxx accept / reject / propose new time for meeting notices that come from a corporate exchange sync account? If so how, or, is there anything special I need to do?

I'd like to think this is just a "user error" but the more I look for a fix the more I think it's a bug / deficiency. I'm still within my 2 week trial period and if I can't figure this out I think I'm going iphone.

More detail; when I receive a new meeting notice on my phone from my corporate Exchange Sync account, I do not have (at least I can't find) the option to accept / reject / propose new time. I can see it's a meeting notice in my message tray and I can tell it's a meeting because it has a little green person icon over on the right side of the message list. I can open the message and there's even a little button with a calendar gif to "view meeting" but the only action I can take is "add to tasks". If I go to my calendar, I can see the meeting is there but it's marked as "tentative" and even if I open the meeting from the calendar but I still do not have the option to accept / reject / propose new time. The only way I can accept the meeting is from my PC which then changes the status to accepted on the phone as soon as the sync happens.

I'd love it if someone here tells me they have a Droid Razr (especially a Maxx) and that it works for them, that way I'd know that it's just a user error and something I can figure it out. I placed a call with Verizon support, I'll let you know what they come back with.

I'm surprised no one else has noticed this issue. Verizon support confirmed they replicated the issue with google calendar but didn't have access to a corporate sync account. They are going to do some more testing Monday but said it could take months for a fix.

Doesn't anyone care about calendar?

I have a corporate sync setup with an exchange server and I am able to accept/tentative/decline meetings and even propose new time. Just as you said, (and this is a little clunky but whatever) you have to "view meeting" to see the details. So to accept, I scroll all the way to the bottom and it says "Attending?" with a drop down and gives you options for reminders. When you select accept/decline/tent, it asks you if you want to send the response or edit it first.

So it works just fine and it goes on your calendar as it should if you accept and it notifies the sender too.

Hope this helps!

(edit) Should have also stated that I have a Maxx.

Yep, same here. Clunky but works. The Calender is soooo much better than the stock one in in old Inc2. Haven't even loaded third part app and has built in Tasks. Sweet for me.

I must be blind... that answers my question thank you. It may be a little clunky but I can live with it the way it is, otherwise I would have had a real dilemma.
