Is there an official source to the story about Verizon no longer grandfathering unlimited data that I can give to the Verizon employee who emailed me back saying Verizon has no plans to do this?

This is quoting Verizon's CFO (chief financial officer) at the podium of a telecom and media business conference.

And just to be clear, the CFO just said that they will be switching their data pricing scheme again (although assuming the price/GB doesn't go up by much this is a vast improvement of the currented tiered plans), and after they make THAT switch the will stop grandfathering unlimited data. Verizon is still grandfathering unlimited data, but somebody in the next year or so they will stop.
