Double numbers received when trying to enter voicemail password

I have an LG Optimus L9. Visual voicemail works fine, but whenever I try to actually dial voicemail, I can never enter my password.

When it repeats the numbers back to me it says (for example) "77554433 is not a valid password", when the password I entered was 7543. It's not always every number. Sometimes it will only double up one or two numbers. I have tried altering the TTY settings, with no luck.

Anyone else had this problem?

I jave thr same issue and it also comrs up when dialing into conference lines. Were you ablr to find a solutuon?

I wish I could be more help, but it appears to have magically worked itself out. I did try messing with the TTY touch type settings on my phone, but I believe I set everything back to default.
