Double sms notification with Chompsms

Hi folks, quick question from a noob. I have installed chompsms and find that I now get two notifications in the notification bar for every sms I receive. One from the native message app, and one from chomp. How do I prevent this?

Disable the native messaging app's notifications and all alerts for it. That will do.

...and that applies to anyone using anything other than the stock messaging app.
