greetings. i do not see this posted, and i searched, but if it's elsewhere, please enlighten me!
i have a galaxy s5 running OS 5.1.1. in the past week or so, the "double tap full stop" has (mostly) quit working. i am so used to using it that my emails and texts are now peppered with double spacebands. #grammarfail
i have checked the settings and this feature is checked as "on". i unchecked it and rebooted and sure enough, it was off (correct behaviour). so i turned it back on and rebooted and... not working (incorrect behaviour again). i tried adjusting other settings, but there's not much to adjust -- i am just using the normal qwerty input on the screen.
like i said, it's mostly quit working. i haven't been able to establish a pattern, but it does occasionally work, but it will work for only one random full stop somewhere, not on a consistent basis.
it's making me crazy. help?
