Help DOUBTS ABOUT VIEWED STATUS WHATSAPP

When a status is confirmed as viewed by a user (or, in other words, when the owner of the status can see me among those who viewed it)?
A)If I simply switch to the Status screen (i.e. the screen that shows all the statuses of my contacts); (in this case being in the screen with all the statuses of my contacts automatically confirm them as viewed)
or
B) if I click on it ? (in this case switching in the screen does not automatically indicate that you have displayed the status of the contact, but you must click on it)

Think someone else was asking a similar WhatsApp question last week. And AFAIK you can see if a contact is online, or when they were last online. I use WhatsApp, and I've never seen anything about if a contact's status is confirmed or viewed or whatever.

If you or your friends actually use these status things, wouldn't the simplest thing be to do a practical test: set a status, ask one of your friends to open that tab but not click on it, then return to the chats tab and send you a message to say they've done it. If you can see they've viewed it then you know that switching to the screen does it, otherwise you know they need to click it.

I can't imagine most people care enough about this to have made the effort to find out, so doing it yourself like this is probably the best way to know for sure. As I said previously, I know nobody who actually uses that feature.

I made the test:when you switch to the status screen the status isn't confirmed as viewed,you have to click on it to confirm the visit

I know nobody who uses this feature, so it would be a weird thing for me to ask anyone.

But why do you need confirmation? You've seen the answer for yourself. I don't understand why you are so worried about this, nor why you are so reluctant to accept any answers.

Because I wouldn't want to have done something wrong or missed something,because of this I ask for 2-3confirmations.
Sincerly it is a little irritating,because the test takes 1 minutes but nobody still makes it

My previous post isn't a criticism but a personal observation, because I think that I explained the question in a simple way and it is a bit strange that among many people who watched my thread nobody still has made the "test" yet. I think it isn't correct a too long thread for this question,simply because it is useless for an easy question.
So,please, I need just few comparisons.
