Downgrade question

I want to downgrade my plan and have the option to on the website for the $30 plan unlimited talk and text and no data...it says I can't do it I have to call a rep...I did and they said I can't downgrade..is there away around this? I called them 5 times and I got 5 different reasons why I can't downgrade lol. Any help would be great...it's a basic phone no 4g the Huawei pinnacle I think it's called.

It may be an issue where your phone won't function right without mobile data.. Not sure. I would try to go into a corporate store and see what they say there

That plan is a limited-time special offer, a "promo" plan, available only on new lines of service, and only available in stores/dealers through 9/30/2013.

The only "way around" this is to cancel your current line of service, and then re-activate your phone on the promo plan. Of course, this means losing your current phone number and getting a new number, plus the first month payment for your "new" service is due immediately.
