download from PC

Hi - just registered on this site - I am fairly new to Smartphone - Samsung Galaxy S II & am tring to download app from PC - I get msg. that no mobile # is associated w/ acct - (Google) - not sure how to add mobile # OR where to add it??? Any suggestions or step by step instructions?

Hello ardena. Welcome to Android Forums. You will want to find the app you want on the market instead of your PC. When you download the app from the market it installs a version just for the phone. The app you have on your pc will not likely work on your phone. I hope this helps. You might want to check into your S2 area for more specific instructions. There are a number of different S2 phones so click on the link below that represents your phone/carrier.
