'download page as PDF' is 'messy'

Hi, first time poster.

I use a Samsung Note 8 (very happy with it) and Mozzilla Firefox. I like to download articles using the 'Download Page as PDF' on Firefox to make notes on them using 'Write on PDF'.

Here's my problem. When I download articles from some sites, sometimes the header of the webpage is too big on the PDF or an Ad might be out of place, things like these can obstruct text.

Is there a way of fixing this or a reliable App to get which can help?

I use an older version of WPS Office for my PDF needs. ReadEra also does PDF' files but I'm unsure of its editing capabilities
