Downloading; When receiving a text msg. all that is shown is "download". When I select download It finally comes throigh about 6 hrs. later

If it's a message that has a picture in it, then make sure your APN settings are correct.

To find out what the apn settings should be search on Google for APN settings for [your carrier name]

Make sure your MMS is set correctly.
Install a different text message app from the play store...

Is it group texts? Can you get them quicker with wifi?
