Help Downloading an MOV file

I'm assuming that it was recorded from an iPhone or iPad. You shouldn't have to convert a properly encoded .mov file. The android player should be able to handle that. Instead of playing it from the attachment, try saving it first to your device.

First of all...thanks...It was an iPhone 5 that created the MOV file and I am using an LG G3 LG-D855 with the Android 5.0 OS. Not sure how to save the MOV file if I can't download it. Also had him send it to my Mac Book via email and I could see some of it but it certainly didn't play correctly so maybe the source file is corrupt???
Definitely a possibility. iDevices use the .mov extension but they are mpeg-4 encoded so they should play across most devices, especially your LG. Might be some security software intrusion going on here, too. Could he upload it to a dropbox or iCloud folder for you to get? That's how i get videos of my grandson.
