Downloading flash

Kudos

Lurker
Long before I had my Nexus One I had an Archos 7 (I think) that would play flash so long as it wasn't embedded in a website, meaning that I had to download it.

With 3G being a bit slow for downloading 10Mb files on the fly whenever you need them, I was wondering if there's a way to play local swf files (as games or animations).

It seems like you would either need a specialised app or some way of pointing your browser to file on the phone.

Just wondering if I'm the only person to have thought about this or if someone has already come up with a solution.

Just get some sort of file manager. Try ES file manager if you don't have one yet. Free with apps. Just click on the swf file, choose image and then choose flash player. (Not sure why flash is listed under image....)
