How do I configure my galaxy s I to allow apps to be downloaded from sources other than the google droid market?? I'm not a techie so I dont know could be obvious lqtms, your help is worth a couple hundred thankyous
Welcome to the forum. This is how it works for my phone. I open up applications and make sure to check the "unknown sources" box. This allow installation of non-market applications to be installed on the device.
Check your phone to see if you have 'unknown sources' or the equivalent.
I've not had any difficulties dnlding files from appbrain etc. I don't recall doing anything special to do so. You might want to ask in you Galaxy S area to be certain. Here is a link to that area: Samsung Galaxy S - Android Forums
