I am trying to get powerpoints from my schools online course tools onto my galaxy note 10.1. I see there is a program to make powerpoints on but when I click the link to download the powerpoints nothing happens. How can you download documents such as these to a galaxy note 10.1?

Download them via a browser. Use a file explorer app (plenty in the Play Store if you don't have one) to copy the files from your download folder to wherever you'd like to keep them, then view them using your powerpoint viewer.

You don't need a special app to download powerpoints.

The other option would be to download them to a PC, use powerpoint on the PC to convert them to PDF, then copy the PDFs to the tablet. If you find that your powerpoint viewer isn't good enough, this would be another way of doing it.

You might also try speaking to your schools IT support. I had to contact mine as no files would download from my schools website because the links were formatted in a strange way and they have since changed it in upgrades to our system.

You could also try downloading a different web browser such as google chrome or firefox from the google play store as these may fetch the files in a different way.
