downloading problem

Hi freinds
I am using samsung galaxy s3 gt-19300 I have problem downloading large amount of files like 400mb, 500 mb, 600mb more thn tht can any body please help me to solve ths problem
Memory storage is 2.29gb/11.35gb and sd card 1.63gb/3.71gb pls help me I had formated the mobile also thier is no net service problem bcz my freind also using the same mobile and same service carrier pls help me

what kind of files are they?

where are you downloading them from?

are you on WiFi or your carrier's data?

I'm having trouble downloading rom files - or any file for that matter - from my Internet browser. When trying to get a rom file, a 'starting download' notification comes up near the bottom of my screen, but no download actually starts... help would be much appreciated!
