Trouble downloading text

Tried restarting and turned auto retrieve on but if  I get a download or group text I get a pop up saying unable to download

What text do you mean? Where are you downloading it?

When I get a text with a download I can't open it  I click download nothing happens

That sounds like a problem with your APN settings.

Check your APN settings (as Unforgiven pointed out) and your MMS settings.

I've had these issues before.

What phone do you have and what texting app are you using?

Yes, agreed. Must be an MMS problem as you don't download SMS, and 19 times out of 20 those are APN problems.
