I'm retired from my 45-year software engineering career but am interested in getting into smartphone app development using Android Studio. But, frankly, the UI of Android Studio for designing the UI elements of an app are just baffling.
Can someone recommend a (YouTube??) video (or a few) that explains at least the basics of adding UI elements, positioning them, sizing them, doing whatever you're supposed to do with those squiggly lines?
I'd really appreciate it.
[ And, seriously, you can't just insert an image (from your computer) into a post like this, you have to link to some image somewhere on the Web? ]
