Anyone else been to see this yet?
What did people think?

Personally I thought it was a very good movie,
Only thing i would have like more of is abit more about Dredds character and why he's like that,
Athough that might have taken away from the pace of the movie i suppose.

Very glad they made it an 18 though!

I haven't been to see it yet but I saw a sick trailer when I went to see The Expendables 2. It looked pretty good, though it was a total flash back to the other Judge Dredd movie lol

Anyways, hopefully I'll go to see it soon.

In the movie do you ever get to see Dredd's face?

In the comics you NEVER see Joe's face, and I think the movies should uphold this tradition. Hell, in one comic book episode Dredd is naked, sitting there having a bath with his helmet on!

For me this was one of the biggest failings of the other Dredd movie. I didn't want to see Stalone's ugly mug. I wanted to believe it was Judge Dredd under that helmet.

nope, now you mention it he doesn't take his helmet off once in the film.

Seeing the film has actually made me think that i need to read the comics
