I have a Droid X that won't go past the eye then I turn it one then the screen goes dark. This happen once before and I took it to the Verizon Store. They did a reboot and worked fine for about 3 weeks. It did it again and this time they said they couldn't get it to the reboot point.
I took it home and started the searching. I found how to reboot.
1st problem I can't get it to get pass the Android guy. I found a post that this has done to a few people and one person said to touch the corners and I did what it said and nothing worked.
So i thought I would try the SBF reboot(there's great video on youtube for this). I think that is what is called (hold volumes and turn on).
2nd problem my computer will NOT find the phone. I have tried everything I could find to try. Tried it on every computer I have with no luck (win 7-64 and win XP.
It used to work before the screen went dark. So I cant check to see what the setting is for the phone. When the phone is in the SBF screen it does show that the USB is on. I also tried the 2 cables I have.
