Driving mode question

I see that many people are having issues with driving mode on their S3. I get mine in tomorrow and will experiment with it, but has anyone tried out the vlingo app? There is a driving mode on there that is supposed to do the same thing more or less. Does it work any better?

I've tried vlingo in the past on the s3 but it always force closed on me. I don't know if it is because they are using the vlingo engine for s-voice. The reason I tried it was in my experience with it in the past it used the Bluetooth Mic instead of the phone Mic. The background noise inn the car is just too loud.
