Help Droid 2 backup question

Well-Known Member
Just got my Droid 2 as a replacement for the D1 since those were out of stock. I went thru the rooting process (went smooth) and installed Rom Manager so I could backup my phone...however it doesn't ever boot into recovery mode....nor can I get into recovery mode (holding the camera button and volume up button).

Is there a different way to do things with this phone now? I'm not running any specific roms, just Launcher Pro and using Wireless Tether for Rooted phones...that's it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks again
Shayne

Did you install the Droid 2 Recovery Bootstrap app and use that to install ?

It's on the market ($2) and also a free download...I bought it, like to support the dev's work.

Use that to set up access to custom recovery, and you can use it to launch to recovery as well.
