Droid 2 ------> Droid R2D2

Hi!
Maybe it`s a strange question but is it possible to install the firmware (or the theme) from r2d2 on droid 2 (or droid 2 global)? Cause I live in Russia and there is no CDMA800 or more, just CDMA450, so r2d2 is not working, and the droid 2 is. I really like r2d2 because of SW

you can flash droid 2 (a595) software on R2D2 (a957) and vise versa
I thought the radios were the same though

the D2 global (a956) is not compatible with with D2 or R2D2

fyi if you are on 2.3.4 or flash 2.3.4 sbf
you can not go back to 2.3.3 or earlier
